Are there any proud people out there?

heck yes! i still swell with pride everytime i hear our anthem and when its the americans turn when i'm watching the olympics I get so excited. i think as a country we are doing awesome. we have an awesome president and i love america!

I am proud of our soldeirs who are dying so I can be sitting here typing on my cpu and living a normal free life.

I am proud of a President who is morally beyond reproach and has brought dignit back to the Oval Office.

I am proud to live in a country that has the strongest economy in the world. Every other country on the planet envies the U.S.

I am proud that fellow conservatives spoke up, called their representatives, protested, wrote letters, E-Mailed, and generally nagged that disastous immigration bill off the table.

Civilized, tactful, dissent works!

Problems and all, the U.S. is still the most free country in the world. There is more opportunity to prosper here than anywhere else in the world. I cannot think of anywhere else I would rather be!

No. With Bush in office, along with the complacent Congress, I've never felt more powerless or ashamed of our supposed leaders/representatives.
