does anyone know a program that free and lets you erase the words in the picture without erasing the background? and also, the one that lets you put two pictures together as if like the pictures were really together? if so, please let me know. :) thank you so much. :)

Photoshop .... without much thought.
However, that's too expensive for your use.
You may use Photoshop Elements 5.0 (current version), which embeds a stripped down version of actual photoshop image manipulation libraries, and its amazingly powerful. Huge bang for the bucks - I guess its about 1/8th cost of Photoshop, but capability wise, I guess its 1/4th.
