how would you know if someone is a true friend?

a true friend is always there to lend a helping hand without expecting anything in reurn..when you need someone to tlak with they are there for you no matter what time it is..they will offer you the shirt off their backs if you need it..their someone you cna tlak to and know it wont go any further..someone you share you deepest secrets with...someone who lets you know no matter where you are or how far apart you both become in life..theres always a contact through memories and talking either online or phone etc.. atrue friend will defend you and never lets you down..they will be there to go through the best and worst times in your life...this is a true friend...

to be honest i think a true friend is when some1 helps u when ur in trouble and defends u , like last week we had this MAJOR exam and i had forgotten smth just before i was gonna get the questions so i asked my mate what the answer was , and she told me , and when i open the examination paper that was the first Q so with out my mate i would have gotten a really bad mark .
