be careful before you do that. anyone can crop the image and print out letters, checks etc with your signature on it.
i wouldnt advise, but here is how to do it. simply sign a blank sheet of paper. scan it in, crop the image using GIMP or any tool, and save it as a file. when you open the document, paste the image at the spot where it should be - for example, at the end.
