A band manager, most of the time, doesn't play in the band. But they do play a very important role in the band. A band manager books the band's gigs, helps them get a record deal, the band members after the preformances, and lots of other stuff.

no longer unavoidably authentic......I unquestionably have promoted unsigned bands WITH managers. some bands do no longer prefer to clutter with promotions,paychecks,merchandising and so on.... managers may well be jacks of all trades until eventually each and every particular interest desires a chosen person. Do as you like. while you're appearing domestically you could desire to apply a supervisor to chat on your behalf in getting extra gigs.

man if the band cant manage itself....a band manager is basically some one who get you gigs and negotiates pay and performance stipulations....if you are not on a label ditch the manager...the b and should be in control not an outside source that has nothing to do with the creative process

management, administration,delievery of all band programs and services to make sure all the needs of the band members are met in a resonable, efficient and effective manner.
