is it true that billions of dollars worth of defense contracts?

were awarded to Britain for their support of the invasion of the sovereign country of Iraq,and that blair is stepping down now because dubya's a lame duck??

    I won't be surprised if that was true. You can prove it by reverse logic. It is openly known that France, Germany, etc. were denied contracts for the so-called 'rebuilding' effort in Iraq ... so taking it the other way, Britain would have received contracts for the 'support'.

    It's possible, Bush handed out contracts as rewards for loyalty not because they could do the job better and cheaper.

    What defense contracts would we need Britain to fulfill? As far as I know we are one of the few countries protecting Britain from the wolves.
