Does the Muslim religion have an equivalent or similar of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?

The 10 Commandments are from the Old Testament. The Old Testament is accepted by Christians and Muslims alike as part and parcel of the Holy Writings. So the answer is no, Muslims do not have an equivalent to the 10 Commandments. Why not? Because they have the 10 Commandments

They have what is fard (compulsory), mustahab (virtuous but not compulsory), makrooh (bad but not forbidden) and haram (unlawful).

Details and minutae differ from school to school of Islamic law.

They do not believe in the big 10, as they believe that the other faiths, though originally inspired, have been corrupted by impiety and time.

As a footnote, there is an inverse correlation between religosity and intelligence.

I think they have no ten commandments because guys they are allowed to have 5 wives at the same time as long as they can support them.

What they have are the Five Pillars of Islam:

1. Shahadah. Profession of faith in Allah, and Mohammad his prophet.

2. Salat. Requirement to pray five times a day.

3.Zakat. The practice of charitable giving.

4. Sawm. Fasting, of which there are three types - fasting as repentance or compensation, ritual fasting, and ascetic fasting.

5. Hajj. Pilgrimage to Mecca

jesus is a prophet to muslims i asked a local shopkeeper if christmas offended them he said no way and he told me more about moses than any re teacher ever did

the majority of muslims i know condem violence etc they go out of their way to help out others but get booted as 1 job lot

Im Muslim, there is no list like that BUT, we do follow those rules. Correction: Muslims are the people in the "Islam" religion.

Something similar would be the Islamic 5 pillars of faith:

Shahadah - belief that Allah is the one true god & you put nothing above Allah.

Salat - pray five times a day ( or as much as your situation alows)

Zakat - practice of charitable giving

Sawm - ritual or repentant fasting

Hajj - pilgrimage to mecca at least once in life

i'm a muslim, we dont have a '10 commandments' per se but they do apply to our religion also.

Since Islam is an off shoot of Christianity, which was an off shoot of Judaism, they still respect and follow the same commandments.
