Photos on the PC bmp to jpeg?
if you receive a pic from your mob and sent to your email inbox it comes in as bmp. How do you convert it to jpeg, or am i asking for a tall order?

First you need the picture file on your computer, so save it to disk if it is in your mailbox.
You should right-click the image and select "Edit" .. that will open microsoft Paint program and your picture in it.
From the File menu, choose "Save As..".
When the save dialog opens, type in the picture's name (or leave it as it is) and be sure to select "JPG" in the combo box beneath the name "Save as type:" That should convert your image to jpg and save it, and it should also leave the original intact.
