Who is your favorite god/goddess from Greek mythology?

Hermes/Mercury the Olympian god of boundaries and of the travelers who cross them, of shepherds and cowherds, of orators and wit, of literature and poets, of athletics, of weights and measures, of invention, of commerce in general, and of the cunning of thieves and liars. I like Hermes because he is also the Messenger of the Olympian Gods and is kind to travelers.

The Goddess of Love and Beauty. Venus.

It depends on which gods/godesses you are talking about. There were two sets in Greek mythology...The Olympians (Zeus, Athena, Aphrodite...etc...) and The Titans (Cronus, Prometheus, Rhea...etc...). The Titans came before the Olympians, and seem to me to be somewhat cruel...After all, Cronus supposedly swallowed his children...

I would have to go with Oceanus if you're talking Titans, because he is the God of Water and seems to be the most peaceful of the Titans....and I would have to pick Athena for the Olympian choice...Intelligence and woman power and all that!

Fav god: Apollo

Fav goddess: Artemis or Athena

Hypnos, the god of sleep. He is represented as a winged youth who touches the heads of the tired with a branch, or pours a liquid over them from a horn.

I like him 'cause I'm an insomniac, and sometimes I think that I'd really appreciate it if he dropped by every now and then and helped me out.

My favorite goddess is Persephone, daughter of Demeter. I love her story. Its so nice to think that a mother's love would have so much power as to form the seasons.

Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt.

Not so much the goddesses/gods. I lean towards Pandora. I find the story quite intriguing, wouldn't you agree?

Hermes, because I love the taste of mercury. I put it on my hat so it will maintain a fashionable shape, what with the wings and so forth...with a quickness.
