I made a movie on the computer.What kind of disc do I burn it on so that I can watch it on a DVD player?

Update:

My computer says it won't take a DVD only CD's. I have Windows Vista am I doing something wrong?

    If you have a DVD burner , you can use a DVD-R. If you don't have a DVD burner and only have a CD burner, depending on how big your movie is in size, you can burn it on one CD if it will fit, make sure you burn it in Video CD format. If the movie is bigger than 700 MB, you will have to split the movie in two to make it fit on 2 CDs.

    Depends what the DVD player supports. Some will play VCD etc. Safest to burn to DVD though - DVD+R.
