What can I do to get a guy to realize that I have feelings for him?

I have feelings (strong feelings) for a co-worker of mine. We always flirt back and fourth in the office. Heck, we work hand in hand. He has become a very close friend of mine. I want to share my feelings with him, but don't know how to. I would like to be able to find a way to go out with him, whether it's to a dinner or to a club, just to hang out not on work time would be fine.

What do I do? How do I go about asking him?

I am recently divorced (6 months) and I want to get back into the dating scene to find that someone special. Plus, him and I have the same beliefs, hobbies and so much more.

Update:

He will be leaving where I work at due to he is getting out of the military in just about 6 weeks. So, hiding a relationship would not be hard to do for that amount of time, but, just expressing how I really feel is the problem. I don't know how to tell him that I have feelings for him that are more than casual feelings of being co-workers.

I know it's kind of uncomfortable finding yourself new to the singles scene, again. It's only natural to feel a little unsure of yourself. But don't be intimidated. You just have to bite the bullet and let him know how you feel. Most of the time when one person feels butterflies, the other person does too! He's probably agonizing over how to ask you out! Take a chance!

We all have times at work when there simply aren't enough hours in the day to get verything done, or when we want to discuss office politics in a "safe environment, so it should be pretty easy to make up an excuse to discuss "work stuff" over drinks one evening. Find a quiet plave near work, go for drinks, and see what happens.

Just ask him in a casual way. "Hey if you are not doing anything Saturday you wanna hang out and maybe grab some dinner." His response will determine weather or not he is interested. Keep it casual for now and see how he responds.

go out for coffee or lunch, try not to let your co-workers see you. sometimes its very difficult to have a relationship with someone at work, because if things go bad you still have to see each other

slip him your number, and ask him out to dinner. Women are strong, and can make the first move now a days. Go for it.

Try talking to him, if you can't tell him express yourself by writing him a letter. But the main thing is to BE YOURSELF!!! Good-Luck
