Probably the DVD player/DVDs - there's HD-DVD and Blu-ray. They'll probably replace DVDs in the next 5 years.

Hi Lucy, common sense. Here's why: Scientists have discovered a planet 20 million light years away that could possibly support life. It is my belief that our common sense used in the daily application of lives is practically non existent currently. Common sense is a technology because when we use it and apply it, we can see that spending billions of dollars per year to fund such research is a pipe dream. Just for a moment can you get your head around traveling 20 million years at the speed of light? No one can fathom such an eternal distance and what good does it do us to continue?

    cds

they are becoming almost obsolete right now. They will soon become the records and cassettes. I also think dvd players will evolve in to an mp3 type deal where you purchase all movies online and load it onto a player. Kind of like on itunes but much more widespread.
