Why does'nt my second disk drive open when I push the button?
I just hooked it up to back up DVDs and it doesnt open when i push the button!
Could I have incorrectly hooked up the cables?
If so hgow can I fix it?

Turn your computer off, disconnect your cables, reconnect firmly and then boot your computer back up. Give your computer a chance to locate and reinstall if necessary. Check it again.
It's possible (if it's installed correctly) that it could be jammed or the button isn't working anymore. Go to My Computer and right-click on the drive. Choose "eject" and see if it opens. If not, straighten out a paperclip and push it into the little hole on the front of the drive. Wiggle it around until you activate the eject switch. If the drawer is working at all, it should open.

Did You let the computer instal it ? If it do not work try again and make sure the power is hooked up to it.
