Besides the difference in color, can someone please explain the difference between red and black raspberries?
Black raspberries are in season right now. I have never even tasted them. I could eat the red ones all day long. As far as taste goes, what's the difference? Should I bother with the black ones? I enjoy making homemade fruit desserts and preserving fruits for use in winter. Thanks for your help!

You need to check the garden nurseries.
I am sure it is the same plant just from a different area
and may grow side by side.
