thank you card etiquette for a group gift?

Hey everyone,

I was thrown a surprise baby shower at work. What is the proper etiquette for thank you cards regarding this? Do I send everyone who signed the card a thank you note?

Send a group card to work and get then a bakery box of chocolate chip cookies (decent ones). Put them in the break room. They will apprechiate this, its personal and it will let evryone know you are happy they recognised you.

Cheaper adn nicer than sending everyone a card, they will thank you .

Congradulations for whatever the gift was for .....from Me!!!

Source(s): Good taste and everyone likes to be remembered, even the gift givers.

if it was informal enough for everyone to sign the same card, you dont need to send individual cards to everyone. try an e-card to everyone saying thank you and that you appreciate everything that was done for the shower. for the future, individual cards do not warrent a thank you card (unlike a gift that you would send a thank you note for) but you can reply with a 'thinking of you' card or a phone call even. Remember though, its a whole different ball game when it comes to thank-you's for gifts.

what's the suited etiquette to declare "thank you" for team present? i'm a graduate pupil and unpaid intern at a severe college this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. For the vacations, i replaced into given a $5 Starbucks present card and card signed by the college directors. what's the suited etiquette for announcing thank you to the crowd? I see the crowd as quickly as a month at a meeting.
