If you're able as you implied (from a previous question,) I recommend Navy EOD. Google "Navy EOD warning order" to get an idea of the shape you'll need to be in.

None. Infantry, Tankers, and Artillery are the "combat MOS" there all reserved exclusively for men, some people will argue that 68w is a combat mos however it only is if your attached to a combat unit in the field (which is reserved for men). MP's sometime leave the wire to do security and what not but not to the extent of others. Not to sound like a jerk but this is for your (females) benefit. The strongest females I've known are on level with an average man, statistically a women cannot carry the same weight as a male (and with the Infantry, that's a LOT, the "light Infantry" is anything but light). Not to mention PMS, periods, hygiene (some go months without showering), mentally, etc.

Most any job is in Iraq now and will see some action and go on patrols.
Combat medics or truck drivers I am sure are in the thick of it.
I was in administration and had a few chances to go to Iraq. You cannot be in infantry but you can serve and fight (If you are in the right place at the right time).

According to US law, women are not allowed to occupy traditional combat roles. This means that you cannot join the Infantry, Armor, Combat Engineers, Field Artillery, etc.
Jobs that are open to females that are most likely to see action are Transportation Specialist (Truck Driver), Medic, and MP. Outside of that, most jobs open to females are withing the safely of a base or office.

MP's don't do crap, they escort supply trucks. F.A.G's (Field Artillery guys) may see some action but if you want the nitty gritty. It's infantry and armor that are in the thick of it. If you are a woman (or a man) for that matter and want to see action, combat medic. I wasn't one, but it's a great field because you can switch from being on the front line, to be back at the FOB, to being in a combat unit, or being in a hospital. The point is, if you ever get tired of one, you can readily move from one spot to the other, not to mention it is great, prideful job that everyone respects you on. I was dismounted Armor enlisted in Iraq, medics are the way to go.

Field Artillery was just opened to females. It is considered a combat job, but they all seem like pog's to me. Join the Australlian Army, they allow female tankers.
Tankers lead the way.

As a female, if you want combat go MP. I don't know why you want to see combat.
Trust me, after you see it... you'll pray to never see it again.

I served in the Navy, but my son is in Iraq now. He says that there are lots of women paratroopers, and they all love their job.
