kobe. hands down. so kobe doesn't sell tickets?? what idiot said that. the only reason staples center is packed every night is because of #24. he's made the nba more money too when you consider he holds the top spot for most jerseys sold. so not only is he entertaining player that fans love to watch, but he is also a MUCH BETTER PLAYER than lebrick james. besides, this finals performance from lebrick james makes him the worst finals "superstar" in history. such a turn-off for any team who wants to build a team around him. why would anyone who is considered a superstar pass the ball to a player with absolutely no offensive skills with 14 seconds left in the game? see, that just shows what a lil baby lebrick plays like. he's too timid to take a big shot, and look how bowen is playing him. look at all that space he gives him. his shot is just laughable. he can't consistently hit a jumper, and even airballs a free throw. please, this is a player you'd wanna build a franchise around? HAHAH!!! man the guy is OVERRATED! and no, lebron is not a better defender. stupid. look at when lakers had shaq, the days where kobe didn't have to expend so much energy on the offensive side of the ball. kobe was the perimeter shut-down defender for the lakers. do you see it as much now? no. but that isn't kobe's fault. kobe is the better all-around player. you put someone around him who can be a dependable second option, and the team is good enough to be in the finals. besides, lebrick is in the notoriously soft east conference. he was basically handed a free pass into the finals. so don't pat him on his back for this pseudo accomplishment.

you want a star player who will come through for you in the clutch. lebrick james? LOL. dream on. now kobe is someone dependable. he does have his mood swings, but when you have a retard (jim buss) who knows nothing of basketball yet will still inherit the greatest franchise in basketball history, a dim bulb as the GM, and an "insider" who basically said kobe kicked shaq outta town when that's not remotely true, he's permitted to vent a little bit. face it, kobe will do everything necessary to bring home a trophy. he's done his part (which is everything for the lakers), now let his teammates do something, anything for that matter.

this should not even be a question open for discussion.

    KOBE BRYANT > lebrick james.

Is this a tricky question or what?? of course KB24 , in the playoffs all the games come down to the fourth quarter , with all due respect to lebron, the kids scare of taking the blame, i mean whats the point having a superstar in your team if he's going to become clueless when its needed the most. Having

you been watching lebron lately , he should never passed that ball to varejo with 19 seconds left in the game and most importantly with a single cover. Also if u been following the lakers lately im sure u seen kobe's game tighter/winner against portland, against spurs, kings...its call believe it and achieve it. lebron just doenst have in him and kobe does

Kobe, because he is in his prime right now, he's been there done that. He has won championships, he has had his scoring titles. He's been all NBA multiple times. He's been on the all defensive team 8 different times. He set so many records or came close to so many that will not be mentioned for a very long time. He's the best clutch player in the game. He knows when to take over ball games. He has a huge fan base in every singe city. He's paid his dues in the NBA and he is still gonna be better.

He is not a ballhog like people say he is. He's a damn shooting gaurd for crying out loud. He's supposed to shoot the ball. The point gaurd is supposed to pass the ball, but he still manages to average a 5+ assists per game throughout his career.

Lebron is just another young talent that has all the hype going for him right now. When he continues to do what he's doing in the finals right now, people will finally realize that this guy is just a simi star. And if he was playing in the Western conference he wouldn't even be able to make it to the playoffs, believe it.

Kobe by far!! I like Lebron but he doesn't want that shot with the game on the line. Kobe isn't afraid to shoot it in the clutch. Kobe is a proven winner and I'd rather win with Kobe and all his mess than lose with good ol' Lebron.

Kobe is the better scorer. LeBron would be more ideal to build a 'team' around. James brings a complete all around game coupled with unselfish play. No knocks on Bryant, i still dig his game.

I would take Kobe. Killer instinct and thats something that Lebron doesnt have and hes said it himself. Lebron is good but hes not @ Kobe's level yet.

  • LeBron.

I would personally take LeBron because he is a team player. He wouldn't whine like Kobe to be traded onto a team that would help him. He is really mature for his age. He is a great player in the making. And because LeBron is priceless.

Kobe has just lost his mind... and I wouldn't want him having a mental breakdown on my team.

And... yea...LeBron is very popular he would defiantly attract people... sell a lot of tickets.

    Your Welcome :)

If I could pick one guy doing all the work and still be able to drag my team to the finals, I'd take LeBron. He certainly has proven himself capable already. Kobe is a one man show who couldn't even take his team to the conference finals while being the main man.
