If all else fails go to a shoe reapir store. Almost everyplace has one as us ladies hate giving up a great pair of shoes. I had a couple gloves restrung by them over the years and as they can do repair stitching on shoes as thick as Doc martens, riding boots, etc....they have the equipment to do it. I've had detail stitching repaired that frayed/degraded over time done by them with no problem. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The question is can they give you the "Look" you want? On baseballexpress.com, one can order a personalized glove with their name/number. This would mean you have to buy a whole new glove, though. So just call a few alterations places and see what they can do. I hope this helps and good luck!
