Use notecards. I had huge trouble in biology and tried many study tips and notecards were really good. Put the key word on the front and on the back describe, draw, or define the term on the front. Use bold words and footnotes for your notecards.

the best thing i've seen on this is a video package called, 'where there's a will, there's an "A"'. they offer it for college, high school and even elementary school. i found it at my local library. if your library doesn't have it, for a small fee, they will find it at another library for you, so you can borrow it. they're super strict about needing it returned by the due date(2 weeks in my case), and will charge at least $5 late fee, to enforce this rule. I loved it. EVERY student should be required to watch it at least once.

I used to have the same problem.

    1. Hide the T.V. in your closet. If you don't see it,you won't be tempted to "take a break".

2.Get yourself a small cheap tape recorder and read outloud your study material. Then listen to it as you go about your daily routine. Do this over and over till it stays in your mind.

The best way to do study is to make a schedule.Include everything in it......studying,listening music, hanging out with friends n sleeping.....stick to it for a month n then change it.
