Teacher certification?
If I want to become a certtified teacher, where would you recommend IO go to achieve that? I am in Canada and already have a BFA/ in Art along with additional education and teaching experience.
Any ideas? I am tired of being on the fringes.

I am in the same boat here in the State's- go to your local board of ed webpage- they will list the local requirments for certification. Usually you need a bachelors, a 'general knowledge' test, a 'specific knowledge' test (like one in Science for a science teacher) and then a one-year certification training course from a college. Some have programs where you get hired on as a teacher w/ out the one year course basically as an intern, and over the year you earn your certification while on the job. It all depends on how badly they need teachers in your field. If you have a BFA, I am asuming you are in the arts, so it may behoove you to work on an English credential as it will make you easier to hire. Hope this helps and congrats on your choice of profession!

Depending on where you want to teach, you'll need to be certified according to their rules. Here in the U.S., most states require a teacher certification from a university; it includes educational theory classes as well as practicum/practice teaching. I suggest contacting a school in the area in which you'd like to teach, and finding out what their requirements are.
Good luck.
