I am a pharmacist with 35 years experience. I can assure you that the key to being a good pharmacist is experience. You can be book smart, know chemistry backwards and forwards and be a science whiz but unless you can converse with the public and learn to handle everyday situations, you will have problems. Besides the technical skills required, common sense is a big part. Complete confidence can only be gained through experience. Good luck.

you will need to complete calculus.

As for what strengths matter to be successful. First and foremost is smarts and discipline is a close second. Being kind and a good listener sure helps.
