of course I would, its the right thing to do...

and I have found a wallet with $274.00 in it, I tracked the person down, lets say the look in there eyes was priceless, the money was for groceries for the family, I found at my local Kroger's store. It was a good feeling .

Honesty is an attribute worth holding on to, and to an honest person, it doesn't matter who a wallet belongs to when you find one: it must be returned.

If any of the people who have answered that they wouldn't have the nerve to call themselves Christians, I'd suggest re-reading the Sermon on the Mount. Even as an atheist, I greatly value the wisdom found there.

i might want to call the owner and go back the wallet funds, identity and charge playing cards intact. It makes me sense extra positive to do a competent component and simplicity someones pressure than to be a thief. i'm so upset with some human beings's solutions and desire if this can ensue to them someone as honest as them is going and rips them off. desire they celebrate with it. I easily have both got here upon and misplaced a wallet contained in the previous and thank goodness for some honest human beings left in this international. I were given each and every thing again and so did the man whose wallet i got here upon. It by no ability entered my options to thieve.

One of my friends found a wallet and a phone in the toilet, kept the money and the phone and ditched the purse.

I called her a thief all night. It's funny, some peoples first reaction is themselves. The same friend found a phone on the floor in a night club and immediately pocketed it. My first reaction would be look around to see who dropped it.

I did about 5 years ago and would gladly do it again. It turned out that the wallet belonged to a single mother and she was having a rough time.

That's a toughie. I'd probably take the money out and then leave the wallet where they could find it so they wouldn't know that I found it and stole their money.

Yeah i would return it with all the money in there

.....unless there was a ridiculous amount like a couple hundred dollars, then i would keep 50 for my self

HELL NO! NO NO NO NO!

Unless they were like a friend they wouldn't get it back. I can think of a few people I really hate and am enjoying them loose a wallet full of cash to ME! That'd be nice

    Which item are you asking?

    The MONEY or the WALLET?

    I'd return the cheap wallet.

I would take out the ID, driver's license, and credit cards and throw them in the trash, then turn in the money to the police, and tell them it belongs to one of my friends who is in financial need
