Most definitely........ I really care about someone.... a lot. But I don't like how they are behaving. It kind of rips me apart. I don't know how to not love him...... cause once those feelings come, you just can't make them disappear. But his behavior? Wow....... I don't like it. I don't like it at all. *sigh*

Ultimately I don't think so. You can lust after someone (stranger in the street) or tolerate someone (parents) but without actually liking that person then what you have for them is not love, it is merely infatuation or obsession.

Love comes from knowing someone and accepting them for all their faults and flaws. If you can't like someone then there is a big block between you and them. Love will not flourish without like.

Apparently. Moms say that to their kids all the time. Why not with a boyfriends or husbands? Oh yeah. It's more than possible. In many cases it's predictable.

  • Oh, yes! It is very possible especially when you have been with someone for a long time.

sure, really great loves that we experience always come from people who challenge us; and usually that can result in heartwrenching fights and pridful decisions. so, love and hate are very closley related but niether emotion should ever take the lead for too long, or finish first in this confusing race...balance is the key to perfection.

Ever heard the saying, "Love the person, hate the sin?" It might be like this. You love the person, but don't like what they're doing. You wouldn't love them if there wasn't SOMETHING you see in them.

    Possible. Slightly.
