£1m FOR A WEDDING!?
A footballer is getting married today at Blenheim Palace and the whole wedding will cost £1,000,000. Assuming they stay married for 60 years then it will still cost £320.51 per week.

How about a normal wedding like the rest of us and giving the rest to the poor. There are loads of people who could benefit from it if he is thinking of blowing it all on one day.

Yes, but how many footballers marry for 60 years?
I'm willing to guess that the couple will stay married for about two or three years at the most.
And, as mentioned above (I think), why do footballers derserve to be paid millions for kicking a ball around, when doctors save lives? One of the world's stupidly unanswerable questions.

ONE MILLION? What a bloody waste! they are all trying to out-do the Beckhams! I always wondered £15000 was steep! Mind you, if Blenheim Palace was hired, doesn't leave much for the reception food- fish and chip supper, any one?Mine cost £3700. My hubby(-to-be then) looked at horse drawn carriages, and the one he liked CAME from Blenheim palace!(Would have cost us £650!)

Yes but OK magazine are paying them at least £750,000 for exclusive rights to their photos. Add that to the cost of all the lavish presents they receive and they've almost got a free wedding.

he's a footballer and not just any footballer, a proffessional footballer. He makes enough and will get paid loads from some magazine company to publish his wedding photos - they'll basically pay for his wedding

Well I think footballers are extremely overpaid - just kicking a ball around. Prefer rugby with REAL men!! I know I wouldn't pay that much just to "keep up with the Jones'". But each to their own I suppose.

Who is it?
What a waste of money? Its sick isnt it? I really do not agree with that.
What can you get for a million that you cant have for £50 grand?
Even £50 grand to me would be too much.
I could enjoy a wedding on a few thou
