ONE MILLION? What a bloody waste! they are all trying to out-do the Beckhams! I always wondered £15000 was steep! Mind you, if Blenheim Palace was hired, doesn't leave much for the reception food- fish and chip supper, any one?Mine cost £3700. Yes but OK magazine are paying them at least £750,000 for exclusive rights to their photos. Add that to the cost of all the lavish presents they receive and they've almost got a free wedding.

he's a footballer and not just any footballer, a proffessional footballer. He makes enough and will get paid loads from some magazine company to publish his wedding photos - they'll basically pay for his wedding

Well I think footballers are extremely overpaid - just kicking a ball around. Prefer rugby with REAL men!! I know I wouldn't pay that much just to "keep up with the Jones'". But each to their own I suppose.
