How do you delete drivers?

I had an old external hard drive, that keeps giving me the incompatible message. I tried to download new drivers to get it up and going. After a few tries I successfully uninstalled the software except the driver I downloaded. How do I delete it. I tried to find it by looking in the device manager but it isn't there. What do I do?

    If you know the driver name do a search by file and enter the name. Once found delete it.
