What famous TV characters have died in the final episode of their series?
OK, all this talk about the Sopranos had me thinking, has any lead character died in the final episode of their series? I don't mean that we discover it's all been a dream or they ascend to higher plane or is reborn with an different actor, but an honest-to-God no-doubt death of the lead character. I vaguely remember Magnum, PI dying in what was supposed to be the final episode, but then they brought the show back so that doesn't count.
-No, Angel was about to fight a dragon, but didn't die. Weslet died, but wasn't really the main character.

Spike (James Marsters) died in the final episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer....although he was resurrected as a spirit on Angel. He did finally get recorporialized.
Wesley Price (Alexis Denisof) died in the final episode of Angel. And he was a main character because he was listed in the main credits.
Star Trek Enterprise: Trip Tucker (Connor Trinneer) dies in the final episode. That really sucked.
