Why did many women fancy Ted Bundy even after they found out that he is a serial killer and nechrophile?

Ted Bundy just appeals to some women even after they found out he is/was a serial killer and necrophile.

One reason could be because he is good-looking. Another reason because they like the "wild and extreme" attitude towards life, not caring what anyone else thinks.

He was very charismatic & some thought he could not have commited the murders.

I don't know if his groupies had mental disorders. There is no evidence to that.
