You don't hear it cause dogs don't have butt cheeks. Try feeding him something else to get rid of the gas.

Some do make noise, but in general a dog's sphincter muscle isn't as tight as a person's, so gas just flows out without all the vibrato. They also don't try to hold it in, so it doesn't erupt in a single gust.

If you want to reduce the smell, change the dog food. I've found that most canned food produces really foul flatulence in dogs. Since I'm not a fan of dry food either, I make my own dog food, using a nutritionally complete recipe developed by veterinarians. Not only does my own dog food nearly eliminate foul gas, it also has given them beautiful teeth, skin, and coats with a lot less doggy odor.

If your dog has bad gas often that means the food you feed is not agreeing

I bet the food your feeding contains wheat, corn and or soy(soy being one of the worst culprits)

try a food like Canidae do a gradual switch for a week period http://www.canidae.com/ and fumes should be almost non existent once the dog has been on the food for 3 or 4 weeks

I have 4 dogs in the house with me I enjoy having non foul smelling air to breath, so I feed foods that will not cause dogs to become gassy

Haha, my puppies do the same. When they are asleep they fart but you can never hear it. It does stink bad, kind of like poop. Lol...yea i hate it sometimes but I don't feed my puppies anything except Puppy Chow. Well, I haven't taken my puppies to the vet because I just got them, so maybe when you go to the vet again just ask for some information, (just to know), on why they pass so stinky gas. Lol

Change the food they eat. Try a lamb and rice, (there are a few on the market). Give some of that and some canned because a dog has a digestive tract that was set up for meat, not vegetables.

Go on, blame the dog again, that excuse can only be used for so long before youve been sussed out! Poor old 'Defa' for dog!

I have a pug who you'd swear was pooping on you. The smell is so bad at night we make him sleep at the bottom of the bed. I think he does it on purpose to see our reaction. It's some sort of payback. No seriously I swear he knows what he's doing..... He learned it from his daddy.

Just one of the suffering of dog lovers!

your dog's diet is to blame. Try switching him to eaglepack go to www.eaglepack.com to find the nearest place to get it. Dogs don't complain when they get a stomach ache, but just like gas is painful to us, it is to them. Do him a favor and yourself and switch the food.

Would good would it do? You can't out run a f*** anyway.

Reminds me of when my brother was small and passed gas. He ran around the house and then said " Mom how come the stink follows me where ever I go.?"LOL
