How much age difference is too much? I am 37 and he is 50.?

Do you think a marriage will work if he is 13 years older than me? He has no children and I have 5.Two are in college and the other three are still home.

At your (OK, OUR) ages, that's really not a big deal. I am 42 and my bf is 55. The age difference should not be an issue, now you need to see if everything else is compatiable with a successful marriage.

I have a friend who is 25 and she's married to a guy in his 50's, so it can work. It's kinda of weird with that age diffrence, but with you, he's on 13years older, so not weird. Give it a shot... You've got a 50/50 chance.

i guess because you two are older...you're more mature and capable of going about things with reason...so i don't think this age difference would be that much of a problem until of course he gets sick....and you're still going to be in your prime...the question you need to ask yourself are you going to be willing to take care of him....even while your other kids are still at home..if so ...then go for it....if not then perhaps marriage might no be the way to go

I guess if you guys really love each other then yes it should work but obviously both of you have to make an effort and you have to make sure its ok with your kids bc you don't want them to rebel or something of that sort. but ultimately love is blind so age shouldn't make a difference. But of course your friends and family make criticize you guys so good luck with that.

That's cool. Its better than 18 and 50. As for the kids, I hope he likes them, and they like him. That will make it easier on all of you.

Well, you're both adults and if he gets along well with your kids, then why not? Give it a shot!

Well, it all depends on if you really like him. If you don't then you shouldn't be together.
