Get a Haynes manual,to find the location of fuel pump relay, these relays are cheap you could get one from the wreckers or borrow one,try relay first,if this does not cure your problem it could very well be the fuel pump.

sure sounds like a fuel pump. to know for sure the pressure needs to be measured, takes a tool not everybody has. it should be in the 40-55lbs range. if it was a security issue it would start normally and run for 2 seconds. if it were a relay, it wouldnt even try to run. take it to a shop. have it towed by a tow truck, also dont attempt yourself, if done incorrectly damage to transmission can happen replacing a fuel pump isnt somthing that an everyday joe should attempt
these fuel pumps are delicate, they are electric and thus are cooled by the fuel in the tank, as a rule of thumb i tell people is to not let the tank go below 1/4 to make sure theres plenty of gas to cool the pump.

Check your battery cable. If it's loose, tighten it, If it's tight remove it clean it and tighten it. If that doesn't solve your problem, try using a different key. the key has a chip which is part of the theft system. if the chip gets dirty or worn out the car thinks it's being stolen and disables the fuel system If none of those work, it's probably the fuel pump.

Most likely cause would be the fuel pump. They are a know failure on these trucks. get ready for a big price they are not cheap you gonna be looking at $500-$600 for a new one installed
