Best place to eat in Indianapolis,IN?

St Elmos Steakhouse is well known for its excellence.

I absolutely agree to go local--Indianapolis thrives on the dining scene

here are my top picks, from experience

breakfast: Three Sisters in broadripple--especially the blueberry pancakes. Wonderful location, interesting menu with options for vegans and vegetarians.

OR

Hoaglins To-Go on Mass Ave--I'd recommend the quiche. Fun surroundings, good specials, excellent service.

lunch: hands down, Taste on College&51st. I love the B.A.L.T. and the pommes frites. Excellent atmosphere. excellent ingredients, completely unique.

dinner: either Bazbeaux pizza--casual, with an excellent quattro formaggio pizza and more unique options

OR

Scholars Inn on Mass Ave--with cozy, dim lighting and a beautiful patio outside.

One of my best places to eat in Indianapolis Indiana is my favorite......Palomino's downtown. I love their food and the setting, is really a romantic place to go especially for special occasions. You get to see your food prepared by the Chefs, the kitchen is open. This restaurant is a little pricey....but worth every penny. Another place I like to go is to "Mississippi Belle" it is a great Soul food restaurant at 54th and keystone.

My absolute favorite restuarant in Indianapolis is Maggiano's. It is an Italian resaurant with large portions and excellent food. It has a nice atmosphere. It is near Keystone.
