I just bought a Canon EOS Rebel K2 35mm SLR Camera with EF 28-90mm Lens.......?

does anyone have one/what do you like about it?

I've only heard good things about it, but i'm feeling like i shouldn't have ordered it and i need to be reassured.

Thanks!

RELAX!! you bought a fine piece of equipment if you take reasonable care of it it will give you years of enjoyment. You have a camera which will give you digital images if you want them yet years from now your family memories will be safe on silver halide for future generations to enjoy should they find your negatives. It's flexible giving you point and shoot simplicity yet still providing you with the capability to get creative with your photography and you dont have to know all the shutter speed aperture combinations to pull that off either that's all programmed into that little wheel all you have to know is whether you want a portrait type with the background and foreground out of focus use the face; landscape everything sharp near and far use the mountains ; going for an action shot use the running man want to get up close and personal use the flower

on the other side of that dial you want to know a little something but study and you'll get that too

sure, the lens will artwork merely super on a 40D. Any present day EOS DSLR will settle for any EOS lens made because of the fact that 1987, which consists of your 28-90mm lens. the only situation you will observe is the 40D could have a discounted (narrower) field of view utilizing that lens as against your 35mm rebellion. quicker or later interior the destiny, you may evaluate including a much wider lens on your 40D equipment later on jointly with Canon's EF-s 10-22mm zoom. yet, whilst i became taking pictures the 40D and 7D solely, the extremely-huge 10-22mm lens became probable my popular lens for shape and landscapes.

    Hello,

I have a rebel 200 slr and a digitl rebel and love them both. I checked out the specs on this camera and it looks like a good camera. I think you will really enjoy it. It looks very similar to the one I have and I think you will find it easy to use and will deliver good pictures.
