My step grandfather does. He lives with us. It is very hard living with someone with Alzheimers. I love him to death but you have to constantly watch out for him. We have to put alarms and signs on things to help him out. Alzheimers is no joke, its very hard caring for someone with it.

Golden's grandfather had alzheimers and was in the advanced stages when he died on September 23, 2006.

My mother is dying of dementia. It is not the Alzheimer's type, but that does not matter much. Dementia took my grandmother as well. It is like watching them die in very slow motion. I fear I will be next.

MY wifes Grandmother had it and apperently it is hereditary, since dementia has been prevalent in her families make up. It is an absolutelydreadful disease that robs one of their most precious possession. their memory.

Yes and she died today. She was always lucid and I always felt like she was "in there" somewhere. Almost like she couldn't come out.

my aunt has it and it's terrifying. it just happens so quick. its like she's a completely different person....or someone else.
