Is the spam filter on Yahoo email breaking down?
Over the last month, I've noticed a huge increase in spam messages appearing in my Inbox. Prior to that, the Yahoo spam filter worked great. Anyone else notice a recent change in their Yahoo mail service?

If your blocked list is full (500) it will accept no more, so it goes into your Inbox.
You might need to make room in the blocked list. Go to mail page>>options>>block addresses. Highlight some (or most-- if not all) and click "remove block".
Theory says it's usually safe to do so, since Spammers move on to greener pastures after a short spell of unresponsiveness and rarely return to the same address.
Then again, it might just be a new batch of spammers flooding the Internet------everybody seems to be getting a lot more lately.

I gave up on yahoo a long time ago and started to use gmail.
Gmail is great - and has the best spam filter I know of.

Yep, I've noticed unwanted mail creeping through from on line casinos and pharmaceutical companies trying to sell me Viagra.

YES I DO! i think its YAHOO doin it too! everytime ya go to play a game you have to do that 'security' test...and I think Big Brother is up to sumpin...call me a lunatic..
