Alex Rodriguez Gold 2005 MVP Quarter?
I got a roll of quarters today from the bank.
They all had gold(24K?) plating and a colorized Pic of A Rod on it. Wondering how where these were released.
I know Merrick Mint has different ones but I have been unable to find info on this one.

wanting to know where/how released and worth.
I know the regular coins can go up to 12.99 each in a holder.
and that merrick had a set of the New York Yankees on there page. But this coin is a different one as it is a MVP coin Not a team coin
I know you can spend them as .25.
I have owned Comic/sports shop before and I have some people wanting them and I want to set a fair price on them.
I opened the roll and there they where,
I don;t know if they where released by the mint..or if someone bought them from an outside company then decided they did not want them or what.
They are spoken for already. Just discussing pricing.
And I know some people would only pay .25 for one..
Depending on how many where made or released it will drive the price up..the same with any collectible.
I have personaly seen a dime sale for thousands of dollars..It was a error from the mint..by the time it left me it sold for many many more dollars to a collector that wanted it.
You have to be into the world of collectibles to fully get it.

They are worth $.25. Only collector's care about that stuff. It may be worth more to that market but it's only 25 cents.
