All right! Start with what the scrap book is all about. Art, photography, clothing design, WHAT! Then sort through on line the areas that fit your use. Make a text to show a story line and paste, paste, paste! the book will soon be filled and you will have more volumes to make. Luck!

If your in the US and have cable or satellite a good place to start is watching DIY Scrapbooking on the DIY channel.
I recommend for starters, going to a craft or hobby store and picking up a scrapbook kit. They normally include, the album, stickers, glue, frames and some even have a couple of pairs of scissors. If your on a tight budget like most people these days, you can try to locate a scrapbooking store in your area, They normally offer "Crop Parties". This is kind of like a class because you are taught some new tricks from other scrapers. You can also share materials with them. Things like cutters, templates and scissors. Just remember to label your stuff so it comes back to you.
Have fun with it. It doesn't have to be in any particular order or theme. It's YOUR book, not anyone elses.

I love arts and crafts but I've never made a scrap book. My favorite store for the materials is Michaels. They should have everything you need. You can check online to see if they have a website if you would rather browse without leaving the house: www.michaels.com

simply put that word, scrapbooking , into a web search and get thousands of ideas, there are also magazines on it, and at the stores that sell the stuff there are also books that instruct you on what to do to create various ideas, you simply have to start delving into it.
