Who would you take? Jordan, Chamberlin, or Bird if they were in their prime?

I'd pick Jordan. Wilt would be a close second but Jordan was clutch and could score at any moment - best defender ever at his position. Jordan passed up the game winning shot twice to a wide open role player AND took the shot himself and won championships both ways.

No one hustled like Bird and tough as nails AND no one hever had a prettier J.

Wilt was a man amongst boys but he never had to play against Detroit at the height of the Bad boys era.

Jordan no doubt...remember than Chamberlin was a 7 foot man playing in a league of 6 feet 4 inch people. There was no one who stand up to Chamberlin, but now there are so many Centers...Yao, Shaq, Garnett, Duncan, just to name a few.

Also Bird can't handle the ball as well as Jordan. Jordan took the game completely into his hands when it mattered most. Bird did take over the game, but not in the same way as Jordan. Jordan is an all around player, he can do everything. Bird was restricted a little more than Jordan because he wasn't as quick as other people.

Wilt Chamberlin because he was so big that he would be virtually impossible to stop. The Jordan's, Magic's, Bird's, Dr. J's, Oscar Robertson's of the world would have no chance of stopping this 800 pound gorilla. He was also very athletic for a guy his size and had a pretty decent all-around skills (lead the NBA in assists one year). All you have to do is throw him the ball and you're pretty much guaranteed points. Plus, he is a center so you not only can build your team offense but also your entire defense around him.

Chamberlin...he was a center. Bird and Jordan were

guards they don't win against a great center.

Jordan, for sure. He worked really hard, was a great defender, was very athletic, and he had everything, even the team winning attitude and poise in the clutch.

Bird got a ton out of his talent but he isn't as good as Jordan.

Wilt was very talented but he had the incredibly egocentric attitude and didn't have that winning mentality. And for the guy who dissed Bill Russell, he was the greatest defensive center ever! and for your info, wilt played against elgin baylor and jerry west on the same team, and a ton of other good players.

Larry Bird. He was a great team player, and played against better defense than Jordan. Plus his shot was way better. Jordan just had some crazy shots go in.

this questions hard cause all of them were amazing in their prime. I would say Bird, cause wilt never won a champion ship cause he always lost to Russell, Jordan i just think is over rated and many ppl for get he didnt get to the finals w/out the help of pippin and later rodmen, bird made it to the finals and scored like crazy almost all the time, if he wasent scorin he was passin or makin crazy clutch plays.
