My dog is 7 months old does it have parvo or food poison?
I have a medium size dog age 7 months .She is an outside dog and is kept in a large kennel. She has not been eating anything at all but she drinks .She has been vomiting and I have not noticed any diarhea. She has lost alot of weight.I have always gave her the Ol'Roy dog food until these last few days because I heard it was recalled. Is it common for a vaccinated 7 month old to get parvo?

Seems to me that you can't be that concerned if the first thing you do is jump on the computer and ask that question on Yahoo, rather than immediately calling your vet.
Call the vet!!!!!!!!!
And Ol' Roy is just about the worst dog food out here, recall or not. Stop feeding it - for good.

A. Your dog is very ill and should be taken to the vet immediately. Parvo is unlikely since she has had this long enough to lose "a lot of weight". Parvo kills in days. That you have not taken her to the vet already is cruelty and you could be charged with it if someone turns you in to animal control.
B. Dogs need socialization. Once you get back from the vet bring your dog into the house. Housebreak it and make it part of the family. You'll be amazed how much happier and healthier your dog will become. Dogs left alone outdoors become problems with excessive barking, digging and even biting. It drives them crazy. Besides, why would you even want a dog that isn't part of the family?
C. Ol' Roy is just about the worst food there is. As your dog recovers get her some quality nutrition. She will need the protein to rebuild her depleted resources.

It is extremely unlikely that if she has been fully vaccinated that her problem is parvo. Chronic vomiting, anorexia, and weight loss are signs of many serious illnesses, and you should not delay any further getting her to the vet. She may have a bowel blockage or parasite infection or anything in between.
In any case if she is not seen and treated, at this rate she will starve to death.

Right take her to the vet immediately please.
Ol'Roy is horrible, horrible food. You might as well be feeding her wood shavings. Here is a link to dog foods. Number one being the worst, number 6 being the best. Try to feed her something better if she survives.

And to keep your dog outside 24/7 is just plain cruelty. You get a pet to be part of your family INSIDE.

I would like to click the 'report abuse' icon below your question, but I don't think it is referring to animal abuse. Seriously, this made me sad just reading it. Ol'Roy?!?! Are you serious...why do you even have an animal?

Why are you on your computer? You should be at the Emergency Animal Clinic!!!!!
Your dog could be dying! Get her checked NOW!

Please take your dog to the vet right now! She has been vomiting and lost a lot of weight? That seems to be serious!
