Going on a Caribbean Vacation?

Well no one else is going to say this so I guess I will. This is only the honest truth as if I said differently, really wouldn't help you!

Christmas travel isn't cheap unfortunately. It is a very busy travel time and people book in advance for Holiday travel.

I can't speak for Cuba, but all the islands except for Dominican Republic are not inexpensive places. Now on if you are able to stay within budget for the Dominican Republic depends on what your budget is and also what city you would depart from because airfare can definitely be a big expensive. I would suggest trying to go to Cancun as there are many flights there and that typically is going to be the lowest priced tropical destination you might be able to travel to.

Good Luck to you and remember you will all need valid passports to travel to any of these destinations. If you are a US citizen you can only go to Cuba via booking it a "special" way.

i went on a royal carribean vacation last janurary and it was the best vacation of my life!!!!!! it was a one week vacation the ticket was $500 i think but there airfare is what killed me so it was abvout $1500. it took us to aruba curacao virgin islands, st thomas and st marteen. the ship is soo huge u will be amazed. and ur food is all included in ur ticket plus the midnight buffets. and u get to be in the middle of the ocean not just the islands.

but if u dont choose this go to Aruba. everyone was so friendly and all know english

Cancun and Cozumel are Great!!!! you can find good deals if you book early, there are plenty of options. The good things about these places is that you can enjoy the Mayan pyramids at the same time, so once you get bored of crystal clear warm water, scuba diving, white sand beaches, bikinis, hammocks, night clubs, swimming with dolphins, etc. you can still go climb the pyramids.
