I really didn't feel like hlpeing you with all of them, but I can help you w/ the first one ^.^
Set up a system of equations:
If the width is 1/4 the length, then 4w=l
If the perimeter is 130, then 2w+2l=130
Substitute:
2w+2(4w)=130
10w=130
w=13
Plug that value into one of the equations, and you have the length.

hello here is my answer
1) Let w, l and P are the Width, length and perimeter, thus
P = 2w+2l
if w = (1/4)l, l = 4w
hence, 2w + 2(4w) = 130
2w + 8w = 130
w = 13 feet
2) Let w, l and P are the Width, length and perimeter, thus
P = 2w+2l
if w = 5l-584
hence, 2(5l-584) + 2l = 512
10l -1168 +2l = 512
12l = 1680
l = 140 feet
3) percent increase would be
%Increase =The difference is what percent of the original / Original Price
%Increase = (7.25-6.50) X 100 /6.5 = 11.5 %
4) let say x original size of cake
subdivided it neighbors i'll show you how
x ----------------first
2x-------------second
2x-------------third
2(2x) --------fourth
there a problem is it really the Third piece is twice the first?
email me up buntales_27@yahoo.com if it all wrong

Try doing your own homework. You won't learn if someone else tells you and you copy it down.
