The last day on Earth....?

Has anyone else heard of the Aztec calendar and the code embedded in the Bible that the last day of human existance will be on December 22, 2012?

According to the Aztec calendar, they have precislely recorded the first day of existance and the last day they have recorded on their calendar is Dec. 22, 2012.

Then, there is the Bible Code, which has recently been discovered due to the invention of the computer, and the same day was discovered, Dec. 22, 2012 as the last day of earth.

I will probably use my last sick day from work on that day. I also won't brush my teeth that day, or change the empty roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. I mean, why bother?

I would not worry about it, as there is nothing you can do about it. However, remember what they said about the millenium bug. Computer s were going to do ccrazy things, and planes were going to fall out of the sky. But what happened a minute after midnight, nothing, it was all a big con. Logically thinking though, how could the Aztecs forecast the first day of civilization, because lifr would not have existed then, no matter what line of thinking you thought.

Man is flawed. The universe is perfect. I don't see how simple man could even begin to predict something so ridiculous.

Who says when the first day of existence is? I never saw that in a scientific journal. And as for the bible having a code....what happened to Judgement Day in 2000? Seriously...this is stupid. I'm surprised there was no mention of Nostradamus here.

You will not receive many answers or comments for this one, cause it's a scary subject and 2012 is only 5 years away. A collision with another heavenly body is possible, but the spirit of you will survive.

I would hope and pray that the day would go slow. Then I'd go spend time with my closest friends, as much family as I could fit in, then spend the rest of my time with my boyfriend of almost three years.

I've heard that as well. Also heard that Issac Newton made a prediction as well; however, I can not recall where I read that information.

Here is how I look at it; if it happens it happens.

The Aztec calendar is math for ignorant savages.

The Bible Code is math for people who stopped paying attention around the fourth grade.

    Same difference.

But there's plenty of info on the internet, so if you want to know more, knock yourself out.

    Source(s): Atheist and skeptic.
