windows movie maker help!!!?

i tried exiting out of it but it won't and i tried shutting down the computer but it keeps saying that windows movie maker needs to be closed first. well, I CAN'T CLOSE IT!!!! it's been like this for 10 minutes! help!!!

    Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and look for "Movie Maker not responding". Click it and choose End Task to force it to exit.

    It may give you an opportunity to recover the previous project the next time you enter Movie Maker

    try taking out the battery and put it back in
