Why does whole kernel corn come out intact in a bowel movement even though you chewed it thoroughly?

We were talking at the table about whole kernel corn being expelled and looking like it did when first eaten. I mean after a bowel movement, it looks whole again. Anybody know why this happens?

Corn is one of the hardest foods to properly digest. And some people do not digest it at all. This is all related to history and genetics.

probably because even if you think you have chewed it thoroughly, a few have slipped down and you missed chewing them so they show up in the bowel movement.

Yeah, that is a good table topic! Corn is so fascinating! Have you discussed beans with your family also? Bubbles are cool also.

you did not chew well enough and they are so tiny and hard to digest that's why they come out whole when you poop
