Is my tank overcrowded? Or can i add in more fishes?

Ok. Here are my fishes. I have a mixture of freshwater fishes. Cory, guppy, tetra and more. I wana know if my tank is overcrowded or can i add more fishes? If so what do you suggest i add? I prefer small fishes. Are Ghost Shrimps worth it? Pls advise.

Uploaded a short video of my fishes. Watch and tell.

I think you got a great tank there, and a lot of people would be jealous as how clear it is

    Great work

I would go with MM suggestion it is a good one

Oh yeah, and one of your guppies is definately pregnant as well, so if you would like to have the fry, I would suggest to put another plant in there that gives them some hidingspots

    Good luck

How big is your tank? A 10 gallon tank with those types of fish is at the maximum capacity. 20 gallons, you could add a few more 1-2 inch fish. Ghost Shrimp are pretty cool, actually. They roam around the floor searching for food. Best to get a group of 3-5 so they can search quicker than one.

Hi...I am going to give you what I found in one of my fish books. But first off...all tanks need a fresh water change every week ... at least 25% to 50% and figure all the fish are full grown when you do your calcations because they will grow! You mulitply the width by the lenght of your tank. Then you divide it by 12 and you will get your answer. It will tell you how many inches of fish you should not exceed in your tank.

I think you have room for a few more, but not too many... maybe a few more tetras would be a good idea. Ghost shrimp can be really cool in a tank, but can be fish food quite quickly too, so know that if you add them, you might just be getting a special snack for your fish.

Not at all! If any thing add more fish! I say add 1 more cory, 4-6 more guppy, and 1-3 more tetras! Ghost shrimp you can get away with 3-5! Other then that your tank looks great, and your fish look healthy! Good luck!

Fore the first while,I thought the tank is almost uncrowded.Viewing the video and seeing fishes in motion,it was obvious that the tank is overcrowded.I noticed a lot of alga eater fishes.you may replace some of them with small fishes you prefer, such as black molley, swordtail, angle fish,,and the like.

as for Ghost Shrimps,I think it,s of a larger size, adding of which, will not solve the problem of [Overpopulation] in your tank !!

Nice aquarium! If you stick to those small schooling types, I am sure you can add some more, they don't grow very large. I have had ghost shrimp and they are adorable! They die easy, but are also easy to replace and cute to watch. Good luck!

exodon tetras!!!! get about 20, they are awesome little cannibals!!

And that guy is dumb, fish do not grow to there enviroment, they will stop growing while there organs keep growing and eventually kill them from the inside.

Inch per gallon, whatever the fish will be full grown. Not all fish grow to their environment.
