Is This Restless leg syndrome??

my leg feels like there is something under my skin wiggling around whenver i sit or lay down for a while, but this feeling is only in one part of my leg like a small part the size of a dollar bill, about 5 inches from my inside ankle bone or whatever. its driving me crazy please help if you can.

Update:

its not pain, just kind of an irritance sort of thing. like aggravating, but not painful

    That COULD just be a pinched nerve or something to that effect.

    RLS usually affects the whole leg...even both actually.

    If it continues to bother you for a good length of time, maybe you'd need to consult a physician.....

    Sounds very much like restless legs syndrome which is characterised by a crawling feeling or sensation in your leg.

    Potassium, calcium, magnesium and Vitamin B6 may all help.

    Try a Yahoo search for "restless legs (OR leg) syndrome" + causes + treament (OR cures OR remedies) and see what you get.

    It does sound like RLS. Does the pain seem to get better when you move your legs? Worse at night? I would go see your Doc, and if he is no help make an appt. with a Neurologist.

    yes i have been on R.L.S. meds for 2 years.you need to try requip.i feel normal most of the time now.ask your doc.good luck.
