    I went home after a day at work & got high. (smoke makes a scrolling pattern when you look at it from a certain angle)

    Please don't think all Americans talk that way. That kind of slang is called ubonics. We do have slang, but only uneducated Americans speak ubonics.

    California was going to add it to the high school classes in the early 2000's, don't know what became of it though. It is used in the city ghettos.

    particularly the members of the history of drug abuse.

    He went home after work and he smoked MaryJuana.

    Its regional slang, not all American's use that slang.
