mac and hamburger hot dish?

I owe yahoo answers an apology. I meant hamburger meat with spices then add egg wide noodles. Not mac 'n' cheese.

I'm sorry I made a mistake. Next time, I'll explain more.

I have a great dish my mother calls "Hamburger Mommy". It's based on Hamburger Helper. She would brown ground beef (90% -95% lean) then she would add onions, garlic, various spices (basil, parsley, etc.) after all of that browned, she would add tomato sauce and noodles (either egg or pasta). Let it cook until the noodles are cooked. This dish also works really well with rice. Some other things you can add are mushrooms, red or green peppers and also you can add some parmasan cheese. I hope you find this dish interesting. It is really good and a lot healthier than Hamburger Helper (not as much sodium).

I love macaroni & cheese and hamburger. It's really good. However, if you simply want a spicy dish throw oregano, chili powder and salt and pepper to taste into your sauteed hamburger. (I'd sautee the meat with chopped garlic and onion.) You can add crushed tomatoes with puree. Or, you can simply make it sauce by adding a modest amount of sour cream and brothe/water. The chili powder should be enough to thicken it.

Okay, now that sounds much better than the original mess you had going on! I would try adding chopped bell peppers, maybe some roasted garlic. If you can't taste the seasonings you added, just try doubling up on your most favorite one. I really like basil, so if I feel like it's missing something, I just add more basil - can't go wrong!

Both these ingredients work well to make a quick Beef Stroganoff. There's recipes on a bunch of recipe site for this dish...that's were I found it.
