ssa or working?

after tax and other insurance I bring home about 30.00 a day

but it cost 10.00 worth of gas to get to work.

100.00 a week time 4 week is only $400.00 a month

I am thinking of quiting so I can keep SSA $900.00 a month and do not pay anything for gas or insurance.

which would you pick ?

Depends upon how old you are. Are you getting SSA disability ot straight SSA at your full retirement age.

Can you take public transportation to work so that you don't have to pay for gas?

Do you like your job? Does it provide a social outlet for you?
