Of course I'm against it. My dad was a smoker till I was 16, he had to quit because he had a heart attack and he had a problem with his lungs. His bad health was also due to his bad diet, he rarely ate healthy, he simply couldn't taste vegetables or fruits. And the point of him eating anything anything was to smoke right after. It was hell for me for those 16 years to see him do that to himself and I hated the smell of smoke it gave me headaches I couldn't breathe etc. He knew that and loved me but he couldn't stop.

He has kidney failure now at the age of 60, but his health has been poor since he was 30. I wouldn't suggest anyone to smoke! It also leaves a horrible taste in people's mouth and a horrible stink on them! I would never ever date a smoker!

Have you seen how the lungs of a smoker look like?

I don't know if I would say I'm against it. I don't smoke because I know it's bad for me. Here's where it gets sticky. I don't want to smell it. I don't want to walk through it when I leave a building or smell it on someone when they break off the lit end sos not too waste and then carry it with them. I can smell that a mile away. One thing that does bug me is to see a pregnant woman smoking. I feel like the baby can't get away from it and has no choice in the matter. I also think if you can't give up a ciggy how are you going to sacrifice sleep? I will tell you that I don't like people who are loud and obnoxious anti smokers; everyone has rights. Those rights end at the tip of the next person's nose, however.

I believe adults have a right to choose whether or not to smoke.

For those who are so anti -smoking that they believe people should have their RIGHT to smoke taken from them, would you be willing to pay the addition taxes to make up for the tax money generated by the outrageously high taxes charged on cigarettes?I think not...

frankly, i don't care if a person smokes or not. i just don't want to be around it. my grandfather died from lung cancer but he never smoked a cigarette in his life. so, i'm not pissed at smokers. i'm more pissed that his life was taken away from a illness that is rare for non-smokers.

AGAINST. Walk through a respiratory ward sometime and check out all those with emphysema and lung cancer, all hooked up to oxygen. Not a pleasant way to die - slowly and painfully.
