Computer Fan problems?
When ever we play games on the pc the fan comes on constantly and turns off the minute you turn the game off. I have tried hoovering out all the dust from the back of the computer and it still does it. Is it true that if the problem is not solved the fan will eventually wear out and the pc will catch fire. Any help please

Fans are cheap to buy and easy to replace. In fact, it's not a bad idea to get an extra fan right now, and install it, so that you have extra cooling.
You don't have a "problem", though. If you think hard, your head will get sweaty, because thinking is hard work. Your computer finds that thinking is harder work than loafing, so it turns on the fan when you are playing games.
Games tend to use everything a computer has; serious gamers buy rather expensive high-performance computers because games are so demanding.
Your computer shouldn't catch fire if the fan burns out. What might happen is that your CPU chip will overheat and fail.
But an $8 fan installed now is cheap insurance. Most computer cases already have the holes drilled. All you have to do is tighten four screws, and plug it into a spare power supply cable. Should take you 30 minutes if you've never opened the case before. For your nephew who is a geek, it's a 4-minute job.

It's simply to keep your PC cool. I had one like that. It's really annoying but trust me, your PC wont wear out or catch fire because of that. If anything, it will prevent that from happening.

necessary particular; it fairly is drawing air in whilst the different case fan (you may desire to have a minimum of one the comparable length because of the fact the intake fan) strikes the warmth away. examine it with the case open and notice if there are any obstructions like wires or case factors inflicting the noise. Order a clean one in case you could not locate the source of the noise. degree the physique of it with a ruler then convert inches to millimeters on Google and order that length and verify you get the comparable form plug.

You have already been given the correct answer. My advice to you is not to use a vacuum cleaner on computers. Your fan is working fine so leave it alone.

You probably have to worry more if your PC fan doesn't come on when you are playing those games.
